Learning Alternative Behaviors Youth and Family Services, LLC was founded by LaToya Boyd, LMHC. LaToya has Master degree in Counseling from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology from Florida State University. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. She has experience in working with a wide variety of client groups. LaToya’s areas of specialty are anxiety and depression, family therapy, anger management, child behavioral and emotional issues, and parenting and relationship issues. Her specialty in children and families are rooted in her experiences in working with youth and families in the Juvenile Justice System and as a clinical coordinator at Florida State University Employee Assistance Program. LaToya’s passion for helping families learn alternative ways of dealing with life issues and transitions is what sparked her desire to start Learning Alternative Behaviors Youth and Family Services.
